Keri grew up in a small farming/oil well drilling community in south-central Kansas. As the second oldest of
6 children, she quickly learned the value of a dollar and the hard work that went into obtaining that
dollar. Her parents taught her how to be thrifty, spend wisely on necessities, and always have a plan.

Keri went to college to major in business administration and ended up with a diploma in nursing.  She loves being in a field where there is diversity and the opportunity to help people plan for their future.

Keri is married with a blended family.  She is a mother of five and a grandmother to eight, with another one due in August 2022. She enjoys taking walks, hiking, flower gardening, plants of most kinds, reading, and anything that involves getting together with her family.

I grew up in the small, farming community of Ogallala, NE, where my parents were school teachers. I served for eight years in the Nebraska Army National Guard. From my childhood, I learned the value of hard work and serving others.

I graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1992 with a degree in Business Administration / Accounting. With that education, I entered the financial services world via banking. After several years in the banking industry, I wanted to pursue a financial profession that was centered on ongoing relationships. I wanted to do financial planning for “Life” — i.e., Life Planning. Following several years of learning from a reputable financial planning firm — Lutheran Brotherhood / Thrivent — I became independent. This enables me to have my own platform to work with and serve people.

I love being a Dad and “big boy” with my boys. We do a lot of hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities. I enjoy a healthy lifestyle and have completed two full marathons and twelve half-marathons. I am an avid Cornhusker fan. I am active in my church. I love to travel to large cities, as well as scenic outdoor destinations. I am a fan of Italian food, country music (and country dancing!), Star Wars, and muscle cars.
